![]() ![]() These are the tables that need excessive nudging, bumping and gate-lifting (The latter would get you yeeted from the Arcade, LOL). That also means that the tables are relatively feature-less, usually quite fast and to modern sensibilities unfair AF. I can say with confidence that the tables are period-correct. I myself came to the pinball-scene when I was like eleven years old in the mid-70s of last century. Zaccaria has that 'almost Pachinko' feel that I love so much. The pinball tables that were almost straight-up Pachinko lay-outs are the holy grail in my opinion. I wish that the tables on offer even went further back to when a player was supposed to exclusively nudge and bump the table because flippers weren't a thing yet. Take a screenshot of your awesome game and masturbate over it. No exceptions.ģ) I don't care if you feel that the product is great. All options are viable to leave criticism on a product that falls short no matter the price-point. I'm not hurting for cash at all, but I avoid becoming poor by not wasting it. No exceptions.Ģ) Cheap, bought on sale or for full price w/e- money exchanged hands and the product should be worth the price to admission. Once a product is up for sale, it's up for criticism. ![]() ![]() I don't care if one person did everything or if 500 persons worked on it. Before I get into that first a few things I must get out of the way to make sure that there are no misunderstandings.ġ) The 'small indie-dev studio' excuse can kiss my posterior after explosive bowel-movement so they can lick the peanuts off of my bum. It is easier than Simulation but has the same basic problems in my opinion.Zaccaria Pinball Game Review by bukkie661Įven though I have noticed the brigading on negative reviews for Zaccaria I'm going to advise to not spend money on this table. I might be crazy and imagine things though -) But the lack of controlled shots is a general problem on all tables in Sim mode but it is clearly more noticeable for me on these newer tables.Įdit 2: After having played for a while in Arcade mode because it's a bit more realistic to get the achievements where you have to hit bumpers 100 times or so on the same (!) ball - these are really hard - I think that Arcade has essentially the same problems. Hot Wheels feels worst but hitting ramps and making certain shots seems more difficult on these newer tables. For me the table where I can't really control my shots are in the first row in the menu (so the newer tables). I don't want them to be easy - just more realistic! Pretty please! :-)Įdit: The difference is not between EM and SS tables I realised. Unfortunately, I find the Sim physics (can't really say anything about the Arcade physics) frustrating. Let's be clear: I like this game very much and want this to be the great game it deserves to be. At the moment, the game is not there yet in my opinion. I mean I like the additional tables but I think the basics need to dealt with first and that's above all the physics, how the ball behaves and whether the players can control their shots. It's hard to put in words - maybe others feel the same? I never really feel like I am in control. I don't know if there's a lag or if it's just the physics but the newer tables feel clumsy. I have to force myself to shoot earlier even if it does not feel right. But still based on my feeling the shot should be made at that point. I don't lose the ball but my shot is too late to go where I want it to go. In Hot Wheels for example, which I just played, when the ball rolls down the flippers I am almost always too late. ![]() Maybe that's just my imagination but these tables feel better in my opinion. And the ball is at times way too fast! I know it's pinball and it is not supposed to be easy but something's wrong here.įor some reason I like the physics better in the EM tables. The ball spin (which I think is overdone) leads to unexpected drains because suddenly the ball decides to turn the other way (even if in reality it would just be too heavy to care about the spin, which would not be there like this in the first place). In Simulation mode there are more achievements (and for some reason I want to have 450 now) and I honestly prefer the shorter flippers (the longer ones look just weird) but the physics are still crazy at times. Please tweak the Sim physics at some point! I was hoping for this update and I am not even sure that the devs think that this needs to be adressed but I think it definitely needs a change! ![]()
